Throwback Thursdays - Farm Life
When we travel by car and don't have any time constraints we like to venture off the Interstates and easy routes to take state and county roads. This allows us to see the countryside, discover some amazing local places to eat and to see what it's like in Small Town, USA.
While visiting Cookeville, TN a few of years ago, we took the winding roads across the plateau and were rewarded by seeing farmland, cattle and lots of barns.
We take it slow and easy and when something catches my eye, my husband pulls off the road and patiently waits for me to take a variety of angles of the landscape, talk with the animals and to get them to pose for me. I take dozens of shots and love looking back through them after the fact to relive those moments and experiences.
This cow had some attitude and really didn't seem to like getting her photo made. I made sure to tell her I liked her earring and thought she looked very stylish.
