A Fun Day at the Customs House Museum in Clarksville, TN

The Customs House Museum sits proudly on the corner of Commerce and N. Second Street, This unique building is full of history and some of the most unusual exterior architecture you wil ever see. The local are is rich with Tennessee history and stories of the Cumberland River. There are both temporary and permanent that can be seen over and over. Visits to the museum never get old.

There is much for families and children to see and do. The second Saturday of each month Free Day where no admission will be charged. Be sure to check out the model trains exhibits and childrens' area. There are hands on learning experiences for children. 

 

The Customs House Museum is open every day of the week except Mondays. Check the website to see museum and gift shop hours.

 

Temporary Exhibits are constantly changing throughout the year with a wide variety of features. Many of them  are of local artists. The permanent displays do focus on locals from the area. Check the website for the admission costs and how to become a member. Remember the second Saturday of each month has free admission.
