Travel to the 49th State
I was blessed to be able to visit Alaska last summer and travel from Vancouver up the coast to Anchorage and then inland to Fairbanks. Alaska is one of the most gorgeous of all the states in the U.S.
This photo was taken on the train ride from Seward to Anchorage. It was evening but the sun was still strong. The shadows this time of day created beautiful reflections on the lake.
I used my new Canon SX250 and loved the tremendous clarity and zoom it had. I barely sat in my seat for that 2 hour ride because I was standing at the door between the cars so I could get lots of photos unobstructed. I took several hundred shots. The result was that I got several that I really liked. This is one of my very favorites.
