Rotary Park Clarksville, A Good Place for Hiking and Biking
Clarksville and Montgomery County TN have many parks to enjoy but one in particular is like taking a trip to the mountains. Rotary Park is one of my favorites for its solitude and beauty especially during the change of the seasons.
The park was named after the Rotarians because they were a big part in the park's origination. Rotary Park is a county park and is managed by Montgomery County. It is located on the south side of town on 41A ByPass near Madison St. and Nashville Highway.
It is surrounded by subdivisions and businesses but still is able to maintain its quiet surroundings and feel of a get away. This is a great place for a hike and a bike ride. The trails are challenging and will give you a nice workout. There are playground facilities, picnic pavilions, a volley ball court, an amphitheater and a creek. Bicycle riding will also give you a strenuous workout because of all the hills. This natural paradise is a pleasant place to spend a few minutes, hours or a day. The hours of operation are sunrise to sunset.
Rotary Park Clarksville, A Good Place for Hiking and Biking. Bring the family, come alone or with a friend. This is an excellent place to walk your dog. Rotary Park is a quiet little park that is off the radar of most Clarksvillians.
