Real Estate by Debbie Reynolds: Serendipity Sundays - After the Storm

Serendipity Sundays - After the Storm

Serendipity Sundays - After the Storm

The day started out sunny and the humidity continued to build. Late in the afternoon the storm clouds rolled in and the rain came tumbling down. It didn't last more than 30 minutes or so.

By the time we got to dinner the sun was setting low in the sky though the clouds were still hanging low. For a brief moment I saw a partial rainbow. After the storm the humidity was no longer high and it felt slightly cool.

After the storm

There was a nice breeze too which made it almost perfect to eat outside on the veranda. In fact by the time dinner was over a sweater felt good. It is so pleasant to enjoy the beach at times like these.

That's a beautiful picture, Debbie. I'm glad you are enjoying your time by the ocean. Keep sharing your wonderful pictures. I will have to take today's post and put it in your group. I think I forgot to do that.

Good Monday morning Debbie.  I do like your picture. I take it that you are not in Tennessee.

Good morning Debbie. Looking forward to a little rain and some sweater weather, but not for as few more days.

Hi Debbie.  September is a month were the temperature changes can be pretty wild.

I love the photo. You are lucky to be living close to the beach.

Debbie, our afternoon storm was longer then 30 minutes and a sweater was not necessary once it was over. Enjoy your day!

We surely could use a nice storm here, Debbie. I've never seen the hills as dry as they are now.

What a great view!  It seems like rain often brings about a beautiful scene after it is finished, the world around us looks cleaner!

That is a  pretty photo, but I have a lapse in my geography as I had no idea the ocean hit TN

Hi Debbie Reynolds , What a beautiful photo. That beach looks a lot like east coast florida between Daytona and St. Augustine, especially near Cocoa Beach.  I'm probably not even close.  You'll probably say North Carolina.

I love rainbows. Saw double rainbows one evening while in Maui HI.

Nothing like the quiet tranquility of the ocean after a quick storm.
