Summer weather in Clarksville TN

There are some breezes and even frequent rain showers in the late afternoon. The nights can be quite pleasant and comfortable.

Greenway in Clarksville

Mostly in June through mid July, the heat doesn't get to 100 degrees. But look out in August when kids head back to schools. It can be very uncomfortable. Clarksville is my home and in summer it is lush and green. The four seasons we have cannot be beat and give us lots of color and variety. Isn't that the spice of life?

Clarksville's bluewayTo cool off in Clarksville check out on of the area parks or go for a walk on the Riverwalk near the Marina. You might just catch a breeze here while seeing some of the boating taking place. The area pools are very refreshing to and also some of the events sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department in the evenings. The Greenway and the Blueway also are good options for a little shade and exercise.

Those are delightful looking scenes, Debbie!  It kind of reminds me of that song from "Porky and Bess."  Summertime, and the living is easy!

Good morning Debbie. A bit warm in Chicago also. We were at Centennial Park last evening enjoying a concert. Perfect evening weather. Enjoy your day!

Hi Debbie Reynolds ,  We've been getting some of that heat here in northern Indiana with a 94 temp and a heat index over 100 degrees predicted.  It was 93 degrees here today.  It sounds like Clarksville knows how to beat the heat.

Good morning Debbie. We enjoy the water all weekend, looks like you have plenty of ways to beat the heat as well.

Hi Debbie, well today is the first day of summer and we are well into the 80's in New York.  That is hot enough for me thank you and I hope that we don't hit too many days in the 90's!

I think much of the U.S. has been warmer than usual, Debbie Reynolds ... Clarksville isn't alone in that.  Great info for anyone thinking of relocating to the area ... or visiting during summer months ...

We are hot here in my area, Debbie. Really hot. Mike, Lucky and I just finished a walk down Main Street to check on the outdoor plants at the office.

The lake sure looks refreshing. I would love to take a dip in that about now. Even though Clarksville, TN can get hot, it sounds like you have a lot of ways to cool off. Thank you for taking the time to enter the challenge and for sharing all of those great pictures.
