Serendipity Sundays - Yellow Heads Are Bobbing

Spring is showing signs in Clarksville TN even though the official date is 3 weeks away. Some of the trees have begun to bud and the Bradford Pears have pretty much bloomed and leafed out.

I make no secret that yellow is my favorite color and seeing yellow flowers makes me smile. About a mile from my home and on my way to and from the office, I see this field of flowers and the springing of spring. These daffodils are some of my favorites and weathered the heavy frost last night and the below freezing temperatures that set in. The blooms will be gone in another week or so but in the meantime they will brighten up this field next to the little country church.

Serendipity Sundays- Spring is Springing

You will be seeing these in your areas if they haven't already started blooming. Clarksville is being blessed right now with fields of flowers and unusually warm weather for this time of year. We will back in the 70's later this week. Roy Kelley says keep your camera in hand so you don't miss these spring moments.

Debbie, I just love daffodils, have one little volunteer up in my front flower bed and I covered him last night because it dropped down below freezing again. Spring is almost here and I can't wait!

Hi Debbie -- I think of yellow as a very happy color.  Spring is also peeking out earlier in our area than the calendar indicates.

In Oklahoma City what use to happen in April now happens in February. Pretty hard to deny climate change.
