Real Estate by Debbie Reynolds: Earth Day 2017, Clarksville, TN

Earth Day 2017, Clarksville, TN

Today is Earth Day

Cumberland River in Clarksville TN

Clarksville, TN is a river town and over 200 years old. The river was the lifeline and the means of transporting argricultural products up the Cumberland toward the Mississippi River and other parts of the country.

Today, we see barges and lots of recreational boating traversing the river. Along the banks in the downtown area are walking trails, picnic tables, a boat dock, am amphitheater and playground. This is a wonderful place to sit and reflect on the years past and the beauty this area still has.

It is our duty to take care of our resources and preserve them for future generations.

Good morning Debbie.  Earth Day felt different for me this year as it seemed that the earth is now in some serious danger.

It is our honor and our duty and like Gabe Sanders it felt quite different this year as it is up to US to protect our resources since our "leaders" are doing everything in their power to deny the reality of unsustainability.
