Back to School Splash in Clarksville TN


School is getting ready to start on Monday, August 7. to have one more fun time, on Saturday, August 5 at 3 area pools there is a Back to School Splash event.

Swan Lake Pool

The time of the event is 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the following pools.

Beachaven Pool- 390 Gaylewood Dr.

New Providence Pool- 168 Cunningham Ln.

Swan Lake Pool- 2002 Sanders Rd.


The fee is $6 per child and preregistration is required. Attendees will receive a backpack full of school supplies worth a whole lot more than the $6 entry fee plus you'll have a splashing good time.

Also remember that July 28-July 30 are Tax-Free Weekend savings time. This is the perfect time to buy those other school supplies including computers, clothing and shoes and save 9.5% on your purchases. Many of the stores and vendors will be offering other discounts, too.

Hi Debbie - I guess it is easier to staff for lifeguards since the pools won't get as much use after school starts and the life gurard all leave in August to go back to college.  That is a bigger problem here where school starts after Labor Day.
