Real Estate by Debbie Reynolds: Show Your Thanks by Sending a Thank You Card

Show Your Thanks by Sending a Thank You Card

A Thank You Note Is Appreciated

A thank you noteMany of us are going to be invited to share Thanksgiving with friends or family. Saying thank you via a note or a card has a special meaning. These notes are becoming a thing of the past and have been substituted by a text or an email.

It is so much easier to send a thank you text and consider it said and done. It takes a lot more effort to write a note and send it through the mail. That is totally unexpected in this day and time and so much more appreciated. The younger generation doesn't understand the impact that a personally written thank you note can make and the good impression it leaves.

Putting together some meaningful words and locating an address it putting forth more effort. When was the last time you bought some stamps to send a few notes or cards

If you do it you will get noticed. It sets you apart from the others. Excuses like you don't have a nice handwriting or don't know what to say are just that, excuses. It doesn't matter how neat your handwriting is, it is the thought that counts. It is an act of Thanksgiving and is appropriate any time of the year.

Show your thanks by sending a thank you note. You can do it right now. I am sure there is someone that means a lot to you that would like to know it. Do you know a person that has done something special and could use a congratulation?

Don't wait. Get some note cards and start writing. This Thanksgiving is the perfect time to start a new habit. A Thank You note can brighten the day of a friend or work associate.  Go brighten someone's day.

Hi Debbie... I put some 150 Thanksgiving day cards in the mail on Friday and have a handful to get out tomorrow.

We do thank you notes year round. It is a great habit and if you start the day expressing something positive, it sets the tone for the rest of the day. D

Good morning Debbie Reynolds ,

A Thank you note is the best way to let someone know they are special and you care. It is becoming a thing if the past but many of us still like to write them and I know when I get one it makes me feel so good!

Debbie, sending thank you cards is such a small gesture that means so much.   I am being invited to Thanksgiving dinner, and will send a card too!

Debbie you are right receiving a note or a card through the mail is special.  I am grateful that my wife is very good about doing that, because I am horrible at it.

Debbie Reynolds - A hand-written thank you card is a lot of work these days, and that is why it has such a big impact and lasting impression on the receiver.  So few do it, and your advice to start a new habit and get started is a great suggestion!

Debbie, I somewhat fell off the wagon of sending cards.  Earlier this year I got back on it. It feels good getting back to sending actual cards and delivering thank you gifts.  People really do appreciate receiving hand-written notes and cards.

Thank you cards seem to becoming a dying art.  I know I appreciate receiving them, and I do send them.  It's important to show our thanks.

When I was not old enough to print, my Mom had me trace the letters..."Thank you for the..."   and then draw a picture of what we got.  I was not an artist then or now but the habit stuck with me to this very day !

Hi Debbie

Sending a thank you note is such an easy thing to do, and yet so many don't. I enjoy sending them and receiving them year-round. I use both store-bought and hand-made thank you cards.

Have a wonderful holiday.
