Real Estate by Debbie Reynolds: Clarksville Downtown Market Opens on May 26, 2018

Clarksville Downtown Market Opens on May 26, 2018

Just Days Until Clarksville Downtown Market Opens

The local farmers are making plans to bring some of their best fresh produce to the Clarksville Downtown Market. The market is now a tradition in Clarksville and hundreds of shoppers attend each week.

You'll find more than just fruits and veggies. Their are plants, food and crafts. You can also buy organic milk and order your meat straight from the farm. It is much like a street fair. The market will be open on most Saturdays until mid-October from 8am to 1pm except during the hottest times it will close at noon.

Vendors may change week to week. There are different items available each week as the produce develops and comes in. Some of my favorite items are the tomatoes, honey, salsa, homemade breads and flowers.

There will be musical artists performing making the atmosphere very special and a pleasant shopping experience. Bring plenty of bags and an extra helper if you plan to do a lot of shopping. Many of the vendors so take credit cards but mu guess is they would prefer cash. The Clarksville Downtown Market gets bigger and better every year and has won awards as being one of the best in the South.

Plan to eat breakfast or lunch because the food trucks will be there. There is no entrance fee for shoppers and parking is free on downtown streets. You can also come and just look and enjoy the ambiance.

Good morning Debbie. The Farmer's Market here in Chicago opens in several locations a few weeks from now! Enjoy your day!

Looks like it will be a great place to hang out at and shop for produce and other stuff.

Morning Debbie, this looks like a great new tradition for your area.  We have had a farmer's market every Saturday on Third Street for years and it's become a great event.  A good way to bring people to your town.

Debbie, so nice when the weather becomes nice enough to open the open air markets.

We can't wait for our local markets to get into full swing. As you can imagine, we don't ever have to close ours early for heat. Haha. D
