Floating Pumpkin Patch in Clarksville, TN

Don't you love a new concept that puts a twist on old ways of doing things? This is a fun way to fetch your Halloween pumpkins and also have a swim at the same time. This creative event is Saturday, October 20 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at New Providence Pool. Instead of pumpkins being stacked or arranged on the ground, they will be floating in the pool.

The cost is $5 per person to swim and if you want to select a pumpkin from the floating patch, it is $8. There will be lots of fun with games, bounce houses, face-painting and pumpkin decorating if you paid for a pumpkin.

New Providence Pool is located at 168 Cunningham Ln. in Clarksville TN and is open to the public. You may register online or pay at the door. for more information contact 931-472-3380.

This is an interesting event.

I would opt for a slice of pumpkin pie while watching the swimmers.

That sounds like an update to the old bobbing for apples game! I'm with Roy Kelley - a slice of pumpkin pie while watching would be fun. Post pictures if you go.

I bet there are a lot of swimmers and "pumpkin bobbers" at this fun event Debbie Reynolds .  I can't wait to see the photo of you swimming with the pumpkins!

Good morning Debbie - that is a new twist.  Pumpkins instead of watermelons.  A little too cold for that here.

That wouldn't fly around here due to the weather, but it sure sounds like big fun. Will you be jumping in?  :)

Hi Debbie

What a fun event that will be, and a crowded one I bet! We are having OUR Pumpkin Plunge in Carlsbad the same date.

Debbie Reynolds - this sounds like a lot more fun that bobbing for apples! I didn't know pumpins float.

I have a listing with a pool I wonder if I should fill the pool with pumpkins and have an open house party for agents to tour the home?
