Real Estate by Debbie Reynolds: Tell a Veteran Thank You

Tell a Veteran Thank You

Today is Veterans Day

American Flag

Veterans are important to us 365 days of the year, not just today. I am blessed to work in an area that is Veteran-rich since I live near Fort Campbell, KY. Many Veterans choose to retire here in Clarksville, TN because of the low cost of living and military facilities close by. The community embraces them and shows them how much they mean to all of us.

Many of my clients are Veterans. My neighbors are active duty military. A large number of the agents I work with are Veterans. I have Veterans in my family and my son is currently serving in the Navy in Naples, Italy. Our military are important to me and on my mind and in my prayers everyday.

Tell a Veteran Thank You for your service and let them know how their sacrifice is appreciated. Buy a Veteran a cup of coffee or pick up their restaurant check. It doesn't have to be just today. Remember they are Veterans the other 364 days of the year, too and those days they need to hear it, too.

Hi Debbie Reynolds - We owe our Veterans a great deal and should thank them every chance we get.

Good morning, Debbie... we should be aware of thanking and caring for our Veterans every day of the year... it really takes so little to do so.

Good morning, Debbie Reynolds this is a day to honor our vets.... the town of franklin will have a dedication of monuments today at the town common.... I'll be there... and hopefully Tammy will take some crisp clean photos.... not my expertise!!

I did not know your area was so populous with military, Debbie. I absolutely love serving military clients - we don't have active military here but, those who choose to live here are treated like royalty. We should all give our thanks to them each and every day - for they have sacrificed so much for our freedoms.

In California, veterans are given free access to over 140 state parks today. Why don't they have free access all of the time?

Hi Debbie - I didn't know you had a son in the Navy - thank you for his service.  I also live and work with many veterans and it is definitely my pleasure to do what I can for them.

Debbie, it's great to express gratitude to our veterans (and all of the men and women currently in uniform) 24/7 and 365.

Nice tribute to veterans on this holiday.  I have learned that veterans and active  military make up 19% of home buyers - that's a lot!  We can thank them in many ways.

This is excellent advice to share.

I was a VA appraiser at one time and have sold many homes owned by VA.
